Rujevica Stadium (official name: "Stadion HNK Rijeka", English: "HNK Rijeka Stadium") is a stadium that is currently under construction in the city of Rijeka.〔(Rijekaprojekt )〕〔(Rijeka Danas )〕 In the first instance, from August 2015, the stadium will serve as a temporary replacement ground for HNK Rijeka while the new Stadion Kantrida is being built. Once the new Kantrida is built, the stadium will be a part of HNK Rijeka Training Camp.〔(Official Website )〕 The construction of the stadium commenced on 15 September 2014 and was privately funded by the owners of HNK Rijeka.〔(Official Website )〕 On 28 July 2015, the stadium was issued a licence from the Croatian football authorities. It was officially opened on 2 August 2015 with HNK Rijeka's 3–1 victory against NK Lokomotiva.
